We supply, deliver and install drop safes across the Gold Coast. A drop safe is simply a deposit safe with a slot in the top, side or front. Great for business where staff have to handle cash and don’t need access to the safe. They simply drop the money through a secure slot at the top and there it stays until the duty manager/owner empties it and puts it in the bank.
Having a deposit or drop safe is also a great way to deter a hold up or theft from the till. Too much loose cash on the premises is very risky. Staff putting money in a deposit safe with only the manager having access is another security measure against theft.
We also install dual access keypads on some larger safes with two different codes. One being held by the duty manager, one being held by the cash in transit pickup company. This can also work with a dual key access.
Drop safes or deposit safes are by far one of the most popular safes we sell. We even have a range of second hand deposit safes. Drop safes can come with a digital locking mechanism, key or combination. Digital is still the most popular for ease of access but we still sell plenty of all three.
We can even upgrade you current safe to digital locking. Digital locks have some great features like time delay. Time delay means when you put in your access code, you can set a time from 1-99 minutes delay before the safe will open. So if a criminal breaks in and demands the safe be opened, if a 20 minute time delay is set, the safe will not open for 20 minutes. This will stall the thief and probably get him moving.
